On-The-Net provides custom web-development services for medium to large-sized projects. We have been developing complex web sites since 1995, using the Internet and Unix systems since 1983 and developing software since 1969. What we do best are are long-term, ongoing customer relations projects. We are professionals who have been doing this since the beginning of the Internet and we therefore charge accordingly.

We have a number of services:

Complex site development: The bulk of our work consists of developing the programming for complex web sites. This includes database and CGI programming, in many programming languages like perl, C, C++ and php. We have extensive experience in configuring web servers and web sites for protected areas, controlling cookies, shopping carts and systems and other backend systems.

Web site and hosting consultants: We can act as internal technical support to information specialists and graphic web-development firms like the web hosting division of the AlphaGraphics print shop chain. The types of services we provide for this firm include designing server configurations, architect server and database structures, and ensure that they are designed with the utmost security. We also give them technical guidelines to be able to implement the server architecture. Often, we install server software and set up administrative procedures; we may monitor these procedures or train their local staff to do so. What we do is largely done remotely; only very rarely to we need to work on-site.

• Installation or customization of existing CGI scripts: unless part of a larger web site development project. This kind of project is just too small to be practical for us or you. All projects take a minimum amount of startup and learning time and unless you really want top quality professional work and can afford it, these kind of projects are not usually cost effective for us to do it for you.
• Small projects at a reduced rate: sorry, we are booked so solid, we can't really help that you can't afford our time.
  
• Donation (free) work for small or non-profit organizations unless local or of personal interest.
